Why Blog?

My intention with having a "personal blog" Instagram account and a blog is not for the purpose of fame, nor do I care for followers. I can care less about how many people read it, but rather I care about whether I am able to impact someone's life positively.

The sole purpose of this blog is for me to be able to share all the bull shit that I've been through and how I've thrived, to encourage you that you can too. Over my short years on this planet, I've had some incredibly dark times. At one point, I couldn't see my self living past 16.

Well guess what?

I'm fucking 21 and I made it. I'm not saying my life is perfect. I still deal with a lot of bullshit, but I can say I'm happy with where I'm at mainly because my mentality changed.

I think social media is intoxicated with Instagram models and every day people portraying their lives to be immaculate. Reality is, it's not. I've written this already in my post about "let's keep it real" but I just want to emphasize, I want to be 100% authentic with you.

Life is imperfect and nothing ever goes to plan, and that's alright. In a world of comparisons to see whose life is better, I want my blog to be different. I want to create a culture of authenticity and empowerment of one another.

This blog is a collection of my inner monologue unfiltered from the heart but grammatically corrected (or at least I try to). All I hope is that my writing can touch your heart and give you a little kick in the butt to make the decision to change your life and create your own happiness.

If you're terrified of something, it's probably a sign that you need challenge it. You're a living breathing miracle. Think about the odds of you being born as you, it's very slim. Some babies don't even make it out of the womb. If you've made it this far in life without dying, of course you can do anything you set your mind to. You're not dead yet, so might as well give life everything you've got and make it one to remember.

Now let's go conquer the world.
