Live Life A Little Extra
I believe in giving everything 100%
If you're going to do something, then give it your all
It's so cliché but it's true
Be present in the moment and cherish every second
Laugh hard, cry hard, work hard, and enjoy life a little extra
My biggest fear is to have regrets or regerts (if you haven't seen this super ironic Milkyway commercial, watch it now. It kills me every time)
Imagine being on your deathbed and feeling regret for all the things you didn't get to experience. Like... No. I refuse to die until I'm satisfied with what I have done with my life. I don't know how much you can actually refuse death but I'm going to live life a little extra hard and be remembered as a badass grandma.
I want to see every country, experience every culture, meet people raised in environments completely opposite from mine.
I would rather wake up at 5 am to run errands, go to class, go straight to work and go out with some friends until 6 am and be exhausted than to stay at home and watch Netflix all day. Is that just me?
I absolutely hate sitting at home and not doing anything (now you know why I have a blog)
Growing up, I often let the fear of being judged, disliked, making mistakes stop me from a lot of things. I think most of us have been there and let our fear or whatever it is, stop us.
But... like... YOLO
No but seriously, you literally only have one chance at life regardless of the fact that Drake has unquestionably ruined the phrase "you only live once"
Nonetheless, who cares what people think?
WHO CARES?
The only opinion that should matter to you is your opinion about yourself. Have the confidence to be able brush off any negativity and be your own advocate. That's not to say I haven't made questionable decisions, but you live and you learn. Now I know. Making questionable decisions means that next time, you're going to question your decision before making the decision. You learn from everything, nothing is wasted. So do that thing that you've wanted to do but terrifies you. Take that leap. You never know what's waiting on the other side.
Who knows, you might realize that you don't like the decision that you made, but at least you gave it a try and now you know for sure. You won't have any lingering thoughts or regrets.
But don't forget this, it's really important.
Living life to the fullest isn't all about you and only you. Living life to the fullest also means being a good human. Just because YOLO you don't go around being a sh*tty person and being a complete douche and doing whatever you feel like. Living life to the fullest means giving every present moment your 100% best and being kind to others.
So get out there, make the first move on that cute person, take action and do something. Keep chasing whatever it is that sets your soul on fire and be unstoppable
See you on the other side ✌🏽
